Probably the best Jimny in the UK (if Carlsberg made Jimnys)

This may sound like a bold claim, but if you are replacing a Jimny, or have been looking at buying a Jimny, see if the ones you have looked at match up to this one.

Suzuki Jimny Land Venture

We have been importing specialist vehicles from Japan for over 15 years.
Originally we traded as Mitsu UK (hence the eBay account name), we have always bought the highest grade of the best selling, most reliable models made in Japan.
 We started off with Pajero’s and later onto Mx5’s, both of which were legendary in their popularity and build quality.
Always choosing special editions not available elsewhere in the world, our cars are not comparable with the competition.

As most people know, Japan don’t salt their roads and their excellent transport system, combined with heavy congestion means the low mileage and superb condition of Japanese imported cars , as long as they are chosen carefully, is quite unbelievable.
Everyone has a car – everyone uses public transport!!!

Japan also has a very high standard when it comes to ongoing repairs and general upkeep, and their MOT or Shaken is both expensive and scrupulously thorough.

Why the change to Suzukis?
The market changes over time, and the models we concentrated previously on are now few and far between.

Suzuki Jimny has been in production since 1970, with over 2.8million being made.
Last year, 2020 was the Jimnys 50th anniversary.
The third generation, the one we have for sale, has hardly changed since 1998, simply because people loved it as it was.
It is ultra reliable, will go anywhere, is small enough to fit anywhere, but tall enough to feel safe.
The new Jimny, if you didn’t know, has been withdrawn from sale, so owning a Jimny in exceptional condition is becoming more challenging.
So if you are going to buy one – buy a good one.
My mother has a Jimny, my daughter has a Jimny, we have a Jimny.

Land Venture?

So, apart from the amazing rust free condition, and the low milage, what has the Land Venture got to offer over and above the UK models?
well:
Folding, heated door mirrors,
Heated seats (think about that one)
Heated windscreen
Pearlescent paint
Special edition wheel cover
Interior trim
Fold flat seats (see below)
Very unique chrome branding
Land Venture floor mats
Wind deflectors
Manoeuvring mirror on the front wing

This particular vehicle even has after market alloys, chrome door handles and matching chrome door locking tabs.

The fold flat seats are an amazing (and in my opinion a deal breaker) addition over the UK models, and are incredibly useful.
This means when the rear seats are folded down, the back has a drop down fixing for creating a platform.
This makes the load area flat, so instead of an awkward step, larger items can be carried level, the most obvious being a dog crate.

We have also removed the original head unit and installed an aftermarket double din head touchscreen unit with reversing camera.

The Jimny comes with a full MOT, valet and machine polish.
We have already given this Jimny a full underbody treatment with Dinitrol*
(Normally we offer this as an optional extra, but because we are finding everyone takes this up, we are now adding it as standard).

We have already submitted all the documents for registration to the DVLA, and are waiting for the V5 to be issued along with the plates.
Regarding the importation, all duties and fees are paid.
All you need to do is tax it, insure it, drive it away and love it!!!

We’ll just reiterate – if you are looking for a Jimny,
if you mean to keep it, if you want it to be packed with features not available in the UK, if you don’t want to deal with rot, rust or corrosion,
and, if you want the best example you can find,
you just did.

*Our Dinitrol underbody treatment process:

First the chassis had wax injected into it – Dinitrol ML 3125*.
Then the chassis and wheel arches had stonechip applied, (after all the plastic inner arches were removed), using Dinitrol 445**.
And finally we used Dinitrol 4941*** underbody coating on all remaining underbody parts.
