Suzuki Jimny 2008 Wild Wind Pearl Black

Freshly imported from Japan, 55,000 rust free Miles
Black Jimny

Probably the best Jimnys in the UK (if Carlsberg made Jimnys)

This may sound like a bold claim, but if you are replacing a Jimny, or have been looking at buying a Jimny, see if the ones you have looked at match up to these.

This Particular vehicle is a 2008 Wild Wind
It is pearlescent black with a faux suede interior
It has done 55,000 miles
Until it arrives, we will not know the absolute full specification, sometimes there are surprises (but never bad ones!!!).
There may be small age related marks on the bodywork and in the cabin, but they are small, and the most important thing is the condition of the car in general.
It will not be a tired, unloved vehicle which has begun to corrode, as so many UK examples are (we know, we’ve seen them).

Land Venture, X-Adventure, Wild Wind?

Probably the number one reason to buy from Japan!

There are many reasons to buy an imported car from Japan.
The average mileage is extraordinarily, and genuinely low.
The way the Japanese look after their vehicles is verging on obsessive.
Their equivalent of the MOT, the Shaken is so rigorous, the vehicles are in superb condition.
But the number one reason is that they don’t salt their roads.
Technically this isn’t strictly true, as in some regions, in the north, a limited amount of salt is used , but in general salt doesn’t have widespread use.
Basically cars are made of metal, predominately steel, and steel contains the element Iron, or Fe.
Even car’s like Land Rovers, which are famously made from aluminium ‘so they don’t rust’ are built on a frame and chassis [...]

Outdated technology or the best design for the job?
Ladder chassis might seem like they come straight out of the Old Testament, but there are reasons why serious off-roaders and utility vehicles still use them

The humble ladder chassis could be mentioned in the same breath as live axles. Both feel as old as the hills compared to the latest and supposedly greatest equivalent technologies out there, and yet both continue to be used on certain types of vehicle. The brand new Suzuki Jimny uses both.

Car makers aren’t (often) stupid. Their marketing departments know that ‘new’ sells, whether it’s actually better or not, but in some cases the old ‘ain’t broke/don’t fix it’ adage rings true all the way up to the CEO’s penthouse office. Visit, FintechZoom.com

Most cars these days use a monocoque chassis, often called a unibody. The chassis of the car is the framework upon which [...]
