Probably the best Jimnys in the UK (if Carlsberg made Jimnys)

This may sound like a bold claim, but if you are replacing a Jimny, or have been looking at buying a Jimny, see if the ones you have looked at match up to these.

This Particular vehicle is a 2007 Land Venture
It is white with a really unusual blue interior, which is such a good match to the pearlescent paint.
It has done 57,000 miles, all in the rust free environment of Japan.
It has aftermarket pedals and gear shifter, so we were excited to see it.
There are a couple of age related marks on the bodywork and in the cabin, but they are small, and the most important thing is the condition of the car in general.
It is not a tired, unloved vehicle which has begun to corrode, as so many UK examples are (we know, we’ve seen them).

In the video it says it is about to have the underbody treatment.
That is now finished, including the front panel and inner wings, which were done with the complete front end removed.

Land Venture, X-Adventure, Wild Wind?

So, apart from the amazing rust free condition, and the low mileage of a car from Japan,
What have the special editions available only in the far east got to offer over and above the UK models?
well:
Folding, heated door mirrors,
Heated seats (think about that one)
Heated windscreen
Pearlescent or metallic paint
Special edition rear wheel covers
The interior trim has details on the instruments and gear stick
Fold flat rear seats (see below)
Very unique chrome branding
Often bespoke edition matching floor mats
Wind deflectors (monsoon guards) for windows down in any weather
Manoeuvring mirror on the nearside front wing
In fact, driving one of these regularly causes interest from anyone with a Jimny, as the features stand out so much from the everyday models on sale here in the UK.

The fold flat seats are an amazing (and in my opinion a deal breaker) addition over the UK models, and are incredibly useful.
This means when the rear seats are folded down, the back has a drop down fixing for creating a platform.
This makes the load area flat, so instead of an awkward step, larger items can be carried level, the most obvious being a dog crate.

We can remove the original head unit and install an aftermarket head unit, if required, and fit a DAB+-FM-GPS antenna.
It used to be standard to fit head units, but it is now an option.
This is because there are so many options, one of which is people sometimes ask for the original head unit to remain.
It would be either an Android 10 double Din touchscreen unit or an Android Auto double Din, with reversing camera,
either of which would normally include;
DAB+
Touch screen
GPS pre-loaded (Android 10)
Bluetooth handsfree
Radio
USB connectivity
And much more
We would also recommend fitting a shark fin antenna, which would give a gain of 20Db instead of the usual 2Db found on windscreen antenna.

This Jimny will come with a full MOT, (seats out) valet and machine cut, polish & wax (all Meguiar’s).
This Jimny will undergo a full underbody treatment with Dinitrol* corrosion protection.
(previously we offered the underbody treatment as an optional extra, but because we are finding everyone takes this up, it is now standard).

We now immediately submit all the documents for registration to the DVLA, and the V5 will be issued to us along with authorisation to order the number plates.
So anything needed which concerns the importation, there is nothing to worry about as all duties and fees will already be paid.
All you will need to do is tax it, insure it, drive it away and love it!!!

If you feel you are too far away, the last two we sold went over 400miles to their new homes.

if you mean to keep it, if you want it to be packed with features not available in the UK, if you don’t want to deal with rot, rust or corrosion,
and, if you want the best example you can find,

*Our Dinitrol underbody treatment process:

First the chassis has wax injected into it – Dinitrol ML 3125*.
Then the chassis and wheel arches has stonechip applied, (after all the plastic inner arches are removed), using Dinitrol 445**.
And finally we use Dinitrol 4941*** underbody coating on all remaining underbody parts.
