This may sound like a bold claim, but if you are replacing a Jimny, or have been looking at buying a Jimny, see if the ones you have looked at match up to this one.

Suzuki Jimny X-Adventure

We have been importing specialist vehicles from Japan for over 15 years.
Originally we traded as Mitsu UK (hence the eBay account name), we have always bought the highest grade of the best selling, most reliable models made in Japan.
We started off with Pajero’s and later onto Mx5’s, both of which were legendary in their popularity and build quality.
Always choosing special editions not available elsewhere in the world, our cars are not comparable with the competition.
As most people know, Japan don’t salt their roads and the transport system, combined with congestion means the low mileage and superb condition of Japanese imported cars , as long as they are chosen carefully, is quite unbelievable.
Japan also has a very high standard when it comes to ongoing repairs and general upkeep, and their MOT or Shaken is both expensive and scrupulously thorough.
Why the change to Suzuki?
The market changes over time, and the models we concentrated previously on are now few and far between.
The Suzuki Jimny has been in production since 1970, with over 2.8million being made.
2020 was the Jimnys 50th anniversary!!
The third generation, the one we have for sale, has hardly changed in many ways since 1998, simply because people loved it as it was.
But it has been steadily improved and modernised, whilst keeping an ‘old school’ feel.
It is ultra reliable, will go anywhere, is small enough to fit anywhere, but tall enough to feel safe.
The new Jimny, has been withdrawn from sale (reintroduced as a ‘lite’ commercial) so the options for Jimny ownership are this model, or the quite expensive generation 4.
So if you are going to buy one – buy a good one.
My mother has a Jimny, my daughter has a Jimny, we have a Jimny.

So, apart from the amazing rust free condition, and the low mileage, what has the X-Adventure got to offer over and above the UK models?

The Jimny comes with full MOT, valet and machine polish/wax.
This Particular vehicle is a 2013 X-Adventure
It is Pearlescent Bronze, quite an unusual but striking colour, with a premium interior of Black and Red leather effect seats – with matching floor mats.
It has folding mirrors, with indicators built in, along with manoeuvring wing mirror.
Factory privacy glass, and monsoon guards on the doors so you can drive with the window open in the rain.
It has a heated windscreen, heated door mirrors, and yes, heated seats.This Jimny will have a service by us, (new oil and air filter, with fresh oil), and will come with a service record book.
We have paid all duties, we will register it with DVLA, and we will supply the number plates.
It has covered around 60,000 miles, all in salt free Japan.
We will fit a new speedo face to incorporate MPH, but it will always clock up the distance covered in KM on the odometer for continuity.
Please remember, we can deliver this vehicle to you anywhere in the country, and inspection and test drive is more than welcome, (by appointment) either in person or via an agency such as the AA.

Land Venture, X-Adventure, Wild Wind?

These are the models on sale in Japan, which the rest of the world don’t get to see.
So, apart from the amazing rust free condition, and the low mileage of a car from Japan,
What have the special editions available only in the far east got to offer over and above the UK models?
well, usually all or most of the following:
Folding, heated door mirrors,
Heated seats (think about that one)
Heated windscreen
Pearlescent or metallic paint
Special edition rear wheel covers
The interior trim has details on the instruments and gear stick
Fold flat rear seats (see below)*
Very unique chrome branding
Often bespoke edition matching floor mats
Wind deflectors (monsoon guards) for windows down in any weather
Manoeuvring mirror on the nearside front wing **

* fold flat seats, load  levellers were discontinued from the X-Adventure onwards (this car does not have them)
** manoeuvring mirror were removed from the Gen 4 Jimny, 2018 onwards

In fact, driving one of these regularly causes interest from anyone with a Jimny, as the features stand out so much from the everyday models on sale here in the UK. The fold flat seats are an amazing (and in my opinion a deal breaker) addition over the UK models, and are incredibly useful.
This means when the rear seats are folded down, the back has a drop down fixing for creating a platform.
This makes the load area flat, so instead of an awkward step, larger items can be carried level, the most obvious being a dog crate.
Please note, some vehicles arrive without the fold flat seats, but do still have the fixings to add them.If you have a look around on our channel, you will find at least one video featuring this car, and lots with very similar cars.

We will submit all the documents for registration to the DVLA, and the V5 willbe issued to us along with authorisation to order the number plates which we will fit. So there is nothing to worry about as all duties and fees have already been paid.
All you will need to do is tax it, insure it, drive it away and love it!!!

If you feel you are too far away, a lot seem to go to the top of Scotland, and are transported over 400miles to their new homes.

The two optional extras nearly everyone goes for are the Dinatrol*** underbody treatment and the Atoto head unit upgrade.

We have started to use Atoto as our Head unit of choice.We have made a number of videos, one is specifically on the Atoto A6 Performance head unit with wireless and wired Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto.
This gives you the option to plug your phone into the connector in the glove box (where it will charge), or leave it in your pocket and it will automatically connect.

The Atoto head unit can support an HD reversing camera – with an option to fit an integrated dash cam.
Both these optional extras can be selected to view live on the double din screen.

We’ll just reiterate – if you are looking for a Jimny,
if you mean to keep it, if you want it to be packed with features not available in the UK, if you don?t want to deal with rot, rust or corrosion,
If you don’t mind standing out amongst UK Jimnys,
and, if you want the best example you can find,
you just did.

***Our Dinitrol underbody treatment process:

First the chassis rails have wax injected into them – Dinitrol ML 3125*.
Then the chassis rails and wheel arches have stonechip applied, (after all the plastic inner arches are removed), using Dinitrol 445**.
And finally we use Dinitrol 4941*** underbody coating on all remaining underbody parts.
We most importantly remove both the front and rear bumper to give access to the Jimnys weak areas, which can corrode in time if not treated comprehensively.

For use in box sections & pre-application of underbody wax
Capable of excellent penetration into crevices and joints
It is very thin, so use sparingly which allows it to penetrate through rust
Dries to leave a brown, waxy, water-repellent protective film giving excellent rust protection

Black polymer based, permanently elastic anti-stone chip product,which protects against corrosion.
It is sound deadening and can be overpainted.
Does not contain aggressive solvents such as chlorinated hydrocarbons and will not attack PVC coatings.

Corrosion preventive coating which provides long term resistance against corrosion and abrasion, even under extreme conditions
Dries to a tough elastic waxy protective coating giving a high degree of protection.
Applied elsewhere, and often without the option to remove the bumpers, prices for this treatment would range anywhere between £600 and £1200.
